On March 19, the 28th Food Ingredients China (FIC 2025) successfully concluded at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Foodmate made a strong impression with its core product lineup, including gelatin, carrageenan, and collagen, drawing industry professionals eager to explore the latest advancements in food technology.

A Standout Presence at FIC 2025

Foodmate's booth was a major attraction throughout the event. Our sales and R&D teams engaged in insightful discussions with industry peers on topics such as the diverse applications of gelatin, market trends in plant-based hydrocolloids, clean-label collagen, and the functional benefits of collagen peptides. Among all the highlights, the launch of our innovative Instant Gelatin captured significant attention.

Adding to the excitement, we also introduced our new mascot to the public, theLeopard Brothers, inspired by Foodmate’s commitment to innovation and rapid response. The mascots’ playful design was a hit among visitors, who also received exclusive branded merchandise as a fun keepsake, further strengthening Foodmate’s connection with partners.

Instant Gelatin: A Game-Changer for Food Manufacturers

On March 18, Foodmate hosted a product launch event, "Innovative Applications of Functional Proteins (Instant Gelatin)", at Meeting Room M503. Our R&D engineer unveiled Foodmate Instant Gelatin’s "Cold-Soluble Technology," breaking through the traditional limitations of slow dissolution and complex handling, providing a highly efficient solution for food manufacturers.

Key Benefits

Faster Dissolution: Traditional gelatin requires pre-swelling for about 15 minutes, followed by dissolution in 60°C hot water with stirring. In contrast, Foodmate Instant Gelatin dissolves instantly in warm or cold water with simple shearing, significantly reducing production time and improving efficiency.

Expanded Applications: Ideal for heat-sensitive products such as probiotic gummies and alcoholic jellies, as well as ready-to-eat foods, and industrial-scale continuous production.

To showcase its versatility, we hosted live tastings featuring alcoholic jellies and mousse cakes, allowing attendees to experience the product firsthand. Attendees also received exclusive sample gift packs and engaged in interactive Q&A sessions with our engineer, whose expert insights were met with enthusiastic feedback.
